I was going to play a game of chicken with the city to wait to pay the ticket on an "Late Ticket Amnesty Day" where the city will allow you to pay just the ticket and not the fees. Well, there was no amnesty day. And the ticket ballooned to $484 and a hold was placed on my tag renewal. So, after recieving serveral more tickets for expired tags and having to pay over $500 in penalties for a $27 ticket ... I'M DONE PAYING STUPID TAXES. I recently had to pay a hefty “STUPID TAX”.
