Face down the Fear of What If

Worry is a common practice for many people these days. Even with the occasionally rally in the market there is still an undercurrent of fear. The best way to deal with fear is to face it head on.

What if I lose my job? This is a reality for people every day and the truth is that there are ways to survive. Take the skills that you gathered at job one and translate them into job two. Work outside your field (maybe in yo

ur passion) for a change of pace. Work where you can work until where you WANT to work comes around.

What if I can't pay my mortgage? Homes bought on variable rates or with an over stretched budget are being lost every day. Sale the house for a lose if you have to. Talk to your bank about getting an extension on your mortgage for a couple of months if you think you can work out your finances. Find an investor that will buy your house and then rent it back. Move in with your in-laws.

What if my spouse dies? People die unexpectedly every day. You find a way to go on. Surround yourself with loving support. Change your location if possible.

The what ifs are endless. Facing them only takes looking at the very worst that things can be and then realizing that you can survive even that.
