There’s really no better way to beat the summer heat than with some ice cream– especially if it’s free. Here is a list of ice cream freebies that will get the sweet, cool, summer treat in your hands for free.

Baskin-Robbins: DoSomething.org wants you to do something this summer. And by signing up for a free account on their websites, they’ll reward you with free ice cream from Baskin-Robbins. Once you create an account they’ll send you the coupon for your free treat between July 13-July 17.

Wendy’s: Wendy’s is asking, do you want to get “frosty?” If you do, sign up and they’ll give you a printable coupon for a buy one get one free frosty.

Walmart: This Saturday 2,000 Walmart locations are handing out free ice cream. You’ll get to choose between one of three treats. Make sure you’re there between 11am and 4pm.

Friendly’s Ice Cream: Friendly’s is scooping up free ice cream on June 6 from 12 to 5pm. Get a single scoop cone or dish.

Sonic: Get free root beer floats at Sonic on June 3. The fun starts at 8pm and goes until close. Check with your local restaurant to make sure they’re participating.

TCBY: They did it for mom, so it’s only fair that they do it for dad. Dads get free frozen yogurt at TCBY on Father’s Day, June 21. If you’re not a dad, head there on a Wednesday and get a $.99 waffle cone.
