Black Friday Websites

Friday, Nov. 27 is the day for shopping. It’s Black Friday when everyone seems to show up at malls and shops around town. They wait in lines for hours and some end of fighting over toys as the sale items disappear off the shelves. I found several Black Friday websites that might be helpful. Black Friday is only 12 days away!

Black Friday Ads:  This site has daily updates on hot deals (not just on Black Friday) at major retailers. For example, Wal-Mart started its Holiday Value Bundles Sale on Nov. 14. You can bundle the Nintendo Wii, Wii Fit Plus and a $25 gift card for $299 or bundle a rechargeable wine opener with a bucket and other items for $25. Wal-Mart bundles include electronics, video games, toys, Christmas ornaments and others. Black Friday Ads also provides you with buying guides and direct links to major retailers.

Black Friday.Info: This one claims to be the official site for all Black Friday ads. Click on the ad tab at the top and choose from stores, such as Ace Hardware to Best Buy and Sam’s Club or Target. November 15 – 17 the site is having a Black Friday contest. Take a picture of yourself holding a Black Friday.info sign in front of Sears or with a Sears employee and submit. Once the limit is hit, they will be uploaded to Facebook for voting. The winner will be given a $200 Sears Gift Card! Go to bfinfocontest@gmail.com.

The Black Friday: Maybe this is the “Official Black Friday 2009 Site”. Ads are being posted to get you ready for Black Friday and this website lists them for you. Right now, Radio Shack, Toys R Us, Babies R Us, Rite Aid, Best Buy, Home Depot, Sports Authority, Meijer and Walgreens are a few who have posted their ads for this year’s Black Friday.

Here are some tips provided by The Black Friday:

Decide what you want in advance and what’s important to you. Pair up with a group of people and split off to different stores. Check the price matching policies of each store. Try to buy only what you need and be a smart parker. You also might want to do some shopping online and avoid the stores all together.
