The more money that you can save then the less stress you are likely to feel each month. Little savings around the house can quickly add up and take some of the burden off your wallet.
Tips for Saving around the Home
-
1. Play clothes – investing in a set of clothes that can be worn over and over for playing will help save on the wear and tear of other clothes and also cut down on the laundry that needs to be done.
2. Hang up and reuse towels – you are drying off your clean body with the towel so using it again the next day just means you are drying off another clean body.
3. Combine wash loads – using the full capacity of the washer will cut back on the number of loads you have to do each week (saving time AND money).
4. Stay outside – you will keep the electronics off saving on the electric bill. You will be able to turn the air up. And you will get healthier (which is also good for the wallet).
5. Cook outside – using the grill will help reduce the heat produced in your home by the over and will save you money on your electric bill (plus clean up is just so much easier).
It’s the little things that help add up to big savings around the home.

Thanks for these..I would’ve never thought of cooking/grilling outside to save energy and minimize household heat. It could definitely save on our electric bills.
