Easter is coming up quickly. As Christians, it’s perhaps the most important holiday we celebrate all year because it’s a time for celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! Make this a festive time in your home without spending much money. Easter trees can be a fun and lovely way to decorate your home for Easter.

This beautiful Easter tree was made for just a few dollars, using supplies you probably already have at home or in your yard. The directions are available at CraftJr.com. All you will need is a toilet paper roll, some decorative paper, sticks from your yard, tissue paper, ribbon and some objects to create ornaments. The one in the picture has wooden beads on the end of the branches, but you could easily use colorful gum drops, too. Pick up some birds from the dollar store and attach them using paper clips. In just a few minutes with a few dollars you’ll have a lovely Easter tree that’s both festive and frugal!
